About Podcasts
Podcasts are professional or homemade audio broadcasts that are available on the Internet. Unlike traditional radio shows that have set schedules, podcasts can be downloaded and listened to anytime in iTunes or on iPod.
With iTunes 4.9 or later, Apple has taken podcasting mainstream by building everything you need to find, subscribe to, manage, and listen to podcasts right in iTunes. You can even publish your podcast to iTunes (as long as it’s free of copyrighted material and overtly explicit content) and reach a potential audience of millions. For inclusion in the iTunes Store, all episodes within a podcast must be available as either AAC or MP3 audio enclosures. Circa due anni fa, io (Cristiano Luchini) e mio padre Mariano, creammo un podcast, cioè un file (generalmente audio con foto e video), messo a disposizione su Internet per chiunque si abboni ad una trasmissione periodica e scaricabile automaticamente da un apposito programma.
La trasmissione in questione si chiama Cafè Espresso Podcast, è cerca di fondere insieme meditazione, spiritualità e relax. Viene pubblicata usando varie lingue (italiano, inglese e spagnolo), e dura mediamente 10-12 minuti. Le musiche rilassanti di sottofondo (new age, chill-out, ecc…), sono composte da me e mio padre e vengono intervallate da pensieri e riflessioni varie sul mondo che ci circonda. About rwo years ago, my father Mariano and me, we created a podcast, that is a file (generally audio with pictures and videos), which is distributed over the Internet, often 
using syndication feeds, for playback on portable media players and personal computers.
Our broadcast is called Cafè Espresso Podcast. It tries to mix meditation, spirituality and relax.
It is uploaded in various languages (italian, english, and spanish), and it lasts about 10-12 minutes. The background music (new age, chill-out, etc… ) is composed by my father and me. This music accompanies various thoughts and reflections about the world where we live in.
